Andrew Goodwin
Andrew Goodwin has performed leading roles with the Bolshoi Opera, Gran Theatre Liceu Barcelona, Teatro Real Madrid, La Scala Milan, Opera Australia, Pinchgut Opera and Sydney Chamber Opera. He has appeared with the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra, the Moscow and Melbourne Chamber Orchestras and is regularly invited by all the Australian Symphony orchestras. Andrew has given recitals at Wigmore Hall, Oxford Lieder and major festivals around Australia.
Andrew’s performances this year include recitals at Bendigo and Orange Chamber Music Festivals, Melbourne Bach Choir (Evangelist, St. Matthew Passion), Sydney Philharmonia Choirs (Creation), West Australian Symphony (Steuermann, The Flying Dutchman), Sydney Symphony and St. Pauls’ College (Mozart’s Requiem) and Tasmanian Symphony and St. Peter’s Adelaide (Messiah).
His recordings include Schubert’s Die schőne Müllerin, Winterreise and When yesterday we met (songs of Rachmaninov and Tchaikovsky) for ABC Classics with his long-time recital partner Daniel de Borah, and Artaxerxes, Giasone, L’ámant jaloux and L’anima del filosofo with Pinchgut Opera.
Born in Sydney, Andrew studied voice at the St. Petersburg Conservatory and in the UK with Robert Dean. The winner of multiple awards and scholarships, he has also received support from the Australian Music Foundation and ARS Musica Australis.
Daniel de Borah
Daniel de Borah is recognised as one of Australia’s foremost musicians, consistently praised for the grace, finesse and imaginative intelligence of his performances. His busy performance schedule finds him equally at home as concerto soloist, recitalist and chamber musician.
Since his prize-winning appearances at the 2004 Sydney International Piano Competition, Daniel has given recitals on four continents and toured extensively throughout the United Kingdom and Australia. As a concerto soloist he has appeared with the English Chamber Orchestra, London Mozart Players, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Australian Chamber Orchestra and the Sydney, Melbourne, Queensland, Tasmanian, Adelaide and Auckland Symphony Orchestras.
An avid chamber musician, Daniel has appeared alongside artists including Vadim Gluzman, Andrew Haveron, Dale Barltrop, Kristian Winther, Baiba Skride, Li-Wei Qin, Nicolas Altstaedt, Umberto Clerici, the Quiroga, Navarra and Australian String Quartets, and singers Roderick Williams, Steve Davislim and Andrew Goodwin. He has appeared at festivals including the Musica Viva Festival, Adelaide Festival, Huntington Estate Music Festival, Bendigo Chamber Music Festival and the Australian Festival of Chamber Music. Since 2017, Daniel has been a founding member and pianist of Ensemble Q.
During his studies Daniel won numerous awards including 3rd Prizes at the 2004 Sydney International Piano Competition, the 2001 Tbilisi International Piano Competition and the 2000 Arthur Rubinstein in Memoriam Competition in Poland. In 2005 he was selected for representation by the Young Classical Artists Trust, London. Daniel is also a past winner of the Australian National Piano Award and the Royal Overseas League Piano Award in London.
Born in Melbourne in 1981, Daniel studied at the Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, the St. Petersburg State Conservatory and the Royal Academy of Music, London. His teachers have included Zsuzsa Esztó, Mira Jevtic, Nina Seryogina, Tatyana Sarkissova and Alexander Satz. Daniel now lives in Brisbane where he serves as Associate Professor of Piano and Chamber Music at the Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University.
Alexandra Flood
Australian lyric coloratura soprano Alexandra Flood has been a principal soloist at the Vienna Volksoper since 2022, where she has performed roles such as Adele/Die Fledermaus, Gretel/Hänsel und Gretel, Musetta/La bohème, and Pamina/The Magic Flute. In the 2025/2026 season, Alexandra made her debut with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and Vassily Petrenko, appeared with the Bochum Symphony Orchestra, at the Festival de Música Religiosa in the Canary Islands, and performed Carmina Burana at Opéra de Dijon. In July 2026, Alexandra made Opera Australia debut as Valencienne in The Merry Widow at the Sydney Opera House, In the 2026/2027 season, Alexandra reprises Adele in Die Fledermaus, performs Musetta in La bohéme and Pamina in The Magic Flute at the Sydney Opera House, rejoins the MSO for Brahms Requiem alongside Bryn Terfel, and debuts as Olympia in the Tales of Hoffmann at the Vienna Volksoper.
An accomplished performer across myriad genres, Alexandra enjoys a special connection with Bel canto opera, with works such as Lucia di Lammermoor, La sonnambula, and i Capuleti e I Montecchi among her core repertoire. Alexandra began her career as a young artist at the Salzburg Festival (Blonde/Die Entführung aus dem Serail für Kinder, Modistin/Der Rosenkavalier), working with such luminaries as Harry Kupfer and Franz Welser-Möst. Whilst completing her Masters at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich, Alexandra debuted as Marguerite/Le Petit Faust (Hervé) at the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz, performed Norina/Don Pasquale at Opéra Krakow, Vixen/The Cunning Little Vixen with Pacific Opera, Sydney, Blonde/Entführung at the Bregenz Landestheater, the soprano lead in J. Dove’s church-opera Tobias and the Angel with the Munich Radio Orchestra and Violetta in a new Traviata Remixed production by Lotte de Beer at the Grachten Festival Amsterdam.
Following her studies, Alexandra enjoyed a flourishing solo career, including as Maria/West Side Story in Bolzano, Italy, the world premiere of Moritz Eggert’s opera Caliban at the Dutch National Opera Opera Forward Festival, Nannetta/Falstaff at Malmö Opera, Barbarina/Le nozze di Figaro at Teatro Réal, Jemmy/Guillaume Tell with Victorian Opera, Norina/Don Pasquale at the Bregenz Landestheater, and Elle/La voix humaine with Opera Queensland among others.
In France, Alexandra has appeared with the Opéra de Paris as Female Chorus/The Rape of Lucretia as a guest of the Académie, followed by concerts at Festival d’Aix-en-Provence alongside conductor Thomas Hengelbrock and the Balthasar Neumann Ensemble. Alexandra has also performed with Joseph Bastian at the New Year’s Concert at the Opéra de Dijon.
In concert, Alexandra has appeared with such orchestras as the Adelaide, Queensland, Moravian, Rossini, National (US), Bochum and Berlin Symphony, the St Petersburg and Vienna Philharmonic, the Southwest and Polish Radio Orchestras, in such illustrious venues as KKL Luzern, Bolshoi Opera Minsk, St Petersburg Grand Philharmonic Hall, Berlin Philharmonic, Teatro la Fenice, Vienna Concert House, and the Sydney Opera House.
Alexandra is the Artistic Director of the Queensland Art Song Festival, an educational initiative focused on bring performance and practice opportunities in classical art song to young Australians.
Jonathon Henderson
Jonathan Henderson is an Australian flautist with a multifaceted career spanning Australia and the Nordic countries. Recognized for his dynamic performances and technical mastery, he has been engaged as orchestra principal, chamber music collaborator and recitalist across both regions, appearing at major international festivals including the BBC Proms and Lucerne Festival. His playing has been described by critics as “sublime” (Limelight Magazine), showcasing a “rich range of flute timbres” (The Creative Issue) and “a level of virtuoso control rarely heard” (The Music Trust).
His professional career began in 2012 when he was appointed Principal Flute of the Estonian National Opera Orchestra, a position he held until 2019. During this time, he also worked extensively in Finland as Guest Principal Flute with the Turku Philharmonic and Tampere Philharmonic orchestras and performed with the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra and Nordic Symphony Orchestra. In Australia, Jonathan has appeared as Guest Principal Flute with the Opera Australia Orchestra, Adelaide Symphony Orchestra and Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, and as Guest Associate Principal Flute with Orchestra Victoria. He has also performed with the Australian Chamber Orchestra and Queensland Symphony Orchestra.
A dedicated chamber musician, Jonathan is the founder and Artistic Director of Contra Concerts and flautist of the Australian Debussy Trio. Previously, he was a member of the Southern Cross Soloists and directed the New Theatre Ensemble in Estonia. As guest artist he has performed for Phoenix Central Park, Festival Archipel Switzerland, Melbourne Recital Centre, Musica Viva Tasmania, Bangalow Music Festival, Orange Chamber Music Festival, Brisbane Music Festival and the Tallinn Chamber Music Festival among others.
Vatche Jambazian

Pianist Vatche Jambazian completed his Master of music at The Juilliard School following studies at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Having performed globally and nationally throughout North America, Asia, Europe and Australia, he has appeared in Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Sydney Opera House, Melbourne Recital Centre, UKARIA and City Recital Hall Angel’s Place and has been featured on WQXR Radio (New York classical radio), ABC Classic and 2MBS Fine Music Station.
Vatche’s recent performances have seen him perform as soloist and chamber musician with Australian Youth Orchestra, Umberto Clerici, Andrew Haveron, David Greco, Eleanor Lyons, Nexas Quartet, Flinders Quartet, Orava Quartet, Hyung Suk Bae, Emma McGrath, Omega Ensemble, Lauren Fagan, Harry Ward, Lloyd Vant Hoff, Konstantin Shamray and Ian Munro as well as being a featured artist in the Adelaide Festival , Sydney Festival, Bangalow Festival, Adelaide Hills Summer Festival, Bowral Autumn Music Festival and the Orange Festival. In 2022 Vatche premiered Phillip Glass’ Third Piano Concerto in City Recital Hall, and recently the World premiere of Grammy award winning composer Caroline Shaw’s Harpsichord Concerto.
Vatche is currently on faculty at the Australian Institute of Music, Principal Pianist of the Omega Ensemble and Artistic Director of the Bowral Autumn Music Festival.
